Where do we go next?
Redeemed for a Cause has grown, but the need for services still exceeds our capacities. We seek to meet these needs through the following initiatives:
STRENGTHEN OUR BASIC NEEDS PROGRAM
Strengthen our Basic Needs Program that helps victims with their immediate, emergency needs. We are seeking partnerships to receive donated toiletries and funding to distribute meals during outreach.
If you are interested in volunteering or donating, please visit Get Involved.
A little goes a long way!
CREATE A SAFE-HOUSE PROGRAM
Create a Safe-House Program by identifying partners from hotels, shelters, and other places of refuge that can temporarily house victims while we work on our own Safe House.
We are searching for funds to establish an RFAC Emergency Safe House (45 to 60 minutes outside of Philadelphia) to house and protect our most vulnerable women/girls. Our women and girls are in desperate need for a safe place to stay in order to work on rebuilding themselves and their lives. We are thinking of purchasing a foreclosed home under $10,000 and then renovating over time as our funding allows.
If you are interested in supporting, do not hesitate to contact Dawn Williamson at redeemedforacause@gmail.com or donate below.
EXPAND OUR RECOGNIZE AND REPORT PROGRAM
Expand our Recognize and Report Program to train law enforcement, residents, teachers, and counselors to recognize and report the signs of human trafficking.
If your organization is interested in a training, please contact Dawn Williamson at redeemedforacause@gmail.com. Provide a brief explanation of your organization or group and what you would most like to learn from our trainings.
DEVELOP RELATIONSHIPS WITH GOVERNMENT
Develop Relationships with Government by sharing our experiences of working with trafficking victims and assisting legislators improving government policies addressing human trafficking.
If you are a government official or if you interested in assisting Redeemed for a Cause with our government outreach, please contact Dawn Williamson at redeemedforacause@gmail.com.
