VOLUNTEER
At Redeemed for a Cause, well-being is at the forefront of what we’re working together towards. Our programs and activities are designed to be a catalyst that helps community members reach their goals and fulfill their potential. Although we have grown over the past three years, the need in our communities still exceeds our capacities. Volunteers are critical. With a limited budget and limited resources, volunteers have an impact beyond words on women rebuilding themselves and their lives.
Each quarter, we host a Meet and Greet Volunteer Info Session for potential volunteers. The session covers how to get involved with Redeemed for a Cause, in particular our community outreach events. Unfortunately, due to CoVid-19, we are postponing all future info sessions until it is safe.
GIVING CAMPAIGN INITIATIVE
Attention all Redeemed for a Cause supporters
As we continue to support our women and girls, we need your help by donating monetarily. We created a Giving Campaign that highlights how your donations will benefit our organization, the services we offer, and the women/girls we serve. We are requesting donations of
- *$25 to provide a woman or girl trapped in sexual exploitation with hygiene essentials and a snack for the month; stock the toiletry closets in the schools, and replenish the toiletries at the emergency community HUBs around the Philadelphia area.
- *$50 to cover the cost of gas for our organization van weekly to transport women who are trapped in sexual exploitation to our drop-in center, medical appointments, treatment, etc; gas allows us to pick up clothing, toiletry, and food donations for the organization.
- *$75 to provide support in times of crisis to meet the urgent needs of women during our bi-weekly outreaches.
- *$100-$500 to help cover the rental cost for our drop-in center monthly and provide help with their day-to-day operations.
