  • bible studies
  • various groups/workshops, such as a book club, trauma group, and self-love workshop (and others)

In addition, our street outreach team goes out to interact with the community and spread awareness of the free services offered on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month.

Survivor Services

Attention! Starting in July, we are partnering with Salvation Army New Day Drop-In Center for outreach and roll calls with the Philadelphia police department. Along with performing outreach services in West Philadelphia and South Philadelphia, we are expanding our outreach to North Philadelphia, Kensington, and Frankford! Also, we are creating Emergency Community HUBs at many local businesses such as schools, restaurants, churches, funeral homes, Community Umbrella Agencies (CUA), etc. Through the emergency community HUBs at these establishments, we will be providing care packages, service flyers, and bad date sheets for distribution to any ladies who visit these locations. We are grateful for these opportunities to help expand our outreach and broaden our services to any woman that needs them!

Teen Prevention Support Group

Redeemed for a Cause engages with teens through prevention and education workshops. We discuss:

  • signs and indicators of human trafficking
  • how to avoid dangerous situations
  • setting healthy boundaries
  • effective communication of their feelings, needs, and wants
  • conflict de-escalation
  • what to do in a crisis situation

These workshops started in Feburary 2019 and have continued, with the exception of each January and the CoVid-19 interruption (ongoing). January is National Human Trafficking Month and we run our “Sound the Alarm” Initiative all month long in place of the workshops.

Sound the Alarm Initiative

Want to know more about signs of human trafficking, risk factors, and barriers? In honor of Human Trafficking Awareness Month, book a free information session with Redeemed for a Cause Outreach and receive five “Sound the Alarm” whistles.

These whistles can be used as a tool to escape from perpetrators, call for help, and alert others to a dangerous situation.

Calling all youth groups, mentoring programs, churches, local businesses, and others! Join the movement and let’s start

SOUNDING THE ALARM.
